At long last, Quantic Dream release a new trailer for their cinematic adventure title Heavy Rain. Presented at the Games Convention 2008 in Leipzig, the trailer is the first news on the game in quite a while now. A little bit of information has also been released, including the announcement that the game is to be a PS3 exclusive.
Even at a glance the presentation does not impress. What seems to be a cinematic cutscene very quickly gives hints of gameplay opportunities with the appearance of a controller button on-screen, suggesting a kind of Quick Time Event. With Cage criticising new releases every now and then, it comes as a bit of a surprise that what he shows now is not much of a game but merely a movie with interactivity. And all I can say to that is you can keep your exclusive, I’m not interested!
